Among the ancient Chinese lighting tools, candles occupy an important position, which not only brings light to people, but also gives them the spirit of sacrifice and dedication. When it comes to candles, it has to say that an ancient "black technology" - candlestick, candlestick accompanied by candles, the two complement each other, just like fish and water.
Candles appeared at about the same time in China and the West, probably in the Han Dynasty (ancient Rome), and were first discovered in the tombs of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Although candles were not popular at that time, they have entered the ranks of lighting supplies, so the black technology of candlesticks has also emerged.
The widespread use of candles was in the Jin Dynasty (The Middle Ages in western), especially in the Southern and Northern Dynasties , and candlesticks also developed rapidly at this time. And it's still limited because the price relationship determines that it's limited to the aristocracy, it's not accessible to the common people.
In the Tang Dynasty (618–907 ce), the imperial Palace also set up special personnel to manage candles and candlesticks, and candles appeared in the local tribute records. In the Song Dynasty, candles had been used as an exchange commodity in the trade with the Western Xia Dynasty, which can be seen that they were widely used at that time. And the real use of ordinary people, it is to the Ming (from 1368 to 1644) and Qing dynasties.
We draw design ideas from the candlestick and apply them to the cordless table lamp, so that the wireless desk lamp emits Oriental charm while lighting.
